Part of KIA's role in the national development of Kuwaiti, a memorandum of understanding was signed with the World Bank in October 2004 to provide five Kuwaiti nationals annually (according to the available vacancies) with a two year job contract to help provide them with the experience in working at one of the leading international financial institutions. It was agreed that the funding is to be shared equally between KIA and the World Bank.
In 2007, KIA agreed to fund 100% of the program to help Kuwaiti nationals in competing for the available bacancies at the World Bank.
KIA advertises annually the available vacancies in the daily newspapers. The applicants should meet all the job requirements and the selection process will follow the World Bank's recruitment policies.
