KIA and State Street present a seminar on "Asset Allocation for Future Generations"
The Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) and State Street Corporation jointly presented a seminar on “Asset Allocation for Future Generations”.
The seminar, which was held in Kuwait on Monday November 13th, discussed various key issues being debated within the investment management community.
Mr. Rod Ringrow, Senior Vice President and Chairman of Middle East Steering Group welcomed the attendees to the seminar.
Mr. Bader Al-Sa’ad, Managing Director of the Kuwait Investment Authority gave the keynote address where he highlighted KIA’s current activities and plans for the future.
Mr. Peter O’Neill, Executive Vice President and Head of State Street’s European investment services and investment research and trading business spoke on the recent trends in investment flows.
Other issues discussed at the seminar included “Global Markets from a US Perspective,” and “The Search for Consistent Alpha”, which were presented by Mr. Shawn Johnson, Head of the Investment Committee for State Street Global Advisors and Ms. Sarah Wotka, Senior Vice President of State Street’s Alternative Investment Servicing business, respectively.
The seminar concluded with a debate on alternative asset allocation
