PAD handles all HR activities such as Recruitment and Selection, Manpower Planning, Job Description and Job Analysis, and Performance Appraisal.
Once the employees are recruited, the PAD has to review their performance on a regular basis through proper performance appraisals. Performance appraisal is the process of obtaining, analyzing and recording information about the relative worth of an employee. The focus of the performance appraisal is measuring and improving the actual performance of the employee and also the future potential of the employee. On the basis of performance appraisal the PAD will set up an action plan for each employee.
PAD has to ensure that the organizational policies and procedures are being implemented in a proper manner. Disciplinary action can be initiated against employee who are not following the organizational rules and regulations.
PAD has to take firm actions against employees who are not following the organizational code of conduct, rules and regulations. This can result in the dismissal of the employee. PAD processes annual Performance related bonuses, annul merit increases and promotions. PAD processes Residence Permit for expatriate employees, and handles immigration and visa formalities
