Mr. Ahmed Yousef Ahmed Al Sager has been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors and of the Executive Committee of the Board of the Kuwait Investment Authority in 2017.
Mr. Al Saqer has extensive experience in food and retail. He founded Al Yasra Food Company in 1989, which he is the Chairman of the Board, and ten years later founded Al-Yasra Fashion General Trading Company.
He sits on a number of boards in Kuwait and abroad and is presently serving on the board of the following entities: United Electronics Co. – EXTRA, KSA, Göknur - Turkey, BiscoMisr – Egypt. He is also a board member in the Central Bank of Kuwait.
Mr. Al Sager graduated from Claremont McKenna College, California, USA with a degree in Economics.
Bader El-Jeaan is a member of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA), having been appointed in 2017.
Mr. El-Jeaan is a member of the Board of Directors of Gulf Bank KSC and National Real Estate Company.
Prior to founding Meysan, Mr. El-Jeaan was a Senior Executive Officer at Carlyle MENA, a subsidiary of The Carlyle Group, a global alternative asset management company.
Mr. El-Jeaan is the founder and Senior Partner of Meysan Partners, a Kuwait-based corporate law firm.
Mr. El-Jeaan has extensive experience advising corporate, investment banking and sovereign clients in complicated cross-border mergers and acquisitions, international joint ventures and strategic alliances, and project development and finance transactions, as well as various capital markets transactions involving registered and unregistered securities offerings, exchange offerings, consent solicitations, and asset securitizations.
Bader holds a B.A. and M.A. in Law, with honors, from Oxford University and an A.B. in Economics, with honors, from Harvard University.
