H.E. Fahad AlJarallah

Minister of Finance

H.E. Mr. Fahad Abdulaziz AlJarallah was appointed as the State of Kuwait’s Minister of Finance by Amiri Decree on September 3, 2023.

H.E. AlJarallah spent his career in the fields of investment and finance in both the public and private sectors. Prior to his appointment, he served as the Assistant Undersecretary for State Property Affairs and Legal Affairs at the Ministry of Finance, and previously served as an advisor to the Minister of Finance and an advisor to the Minister of Commerce and Industry.

In the private sector, Mr. AlJarallah previously held the positions of Executive Director and Head of Asset Management at the Kuwait Finance and Investment Company (KFIC), and served on the boards of several financial and investment entities, including Kuwait Commercial Bank, Noor Financial Investment Company, Rasameel Investment Company, Kuwait Stock Exchange, Kuwait Clearing Company, KFIC Brokerage Company, and was as a member of the Distressed Businesses Committee at the National Fund for Small and Medium Enterprises Development.

H.E. AlJarallah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance from Kuwait University.
