H.E. Abdulaziz Almarzooq

State Minister for Economic Affairs and Investment and Chairman of the Board of Directors

His Excellency Mr. Abdulaziz AlMarzooq was appointed State Minister for Economic Affairs and Investment by Amiri Decree No. 11 dated 1 February 2026.

Mr. Abdulaziz AlMarzooq served as the Chief Executive Officer of KFH Capital, the investment arm of Kuwait Finance House. He also held a number of different leadership positions, in addition to serving on the boards of directors of other companies, both locally and regionally, across various economic sectors.

Mr. Abdulaziz AlMarzooq has over 27 years of extensive experience, which he has gained through progressive advancement in his career by holding various positions and board memberships in several reputable institutions.

Mr. Abdulaziz AlMarzooq holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from San José State University in the United States, as well as an Executive Master’s degree from London Business School.
